Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Declaration to declare the amendment made against serial number 3 in column (4) against clause (iii) in column (3) as so substituted for clause (1)& (3) to the Tamil Nadu State Judicial Service (Cadre and Recruitment) Rules 2007 published by the 2nd respondent in G.O.Ms.No.877, Home (Courts – 1) dated 24th November 2017 as ultra vires to the Indian Constitution and consequently to declare the Notification No.02/2019 dated 12.12.2019 issued by the 3rd respondent as illegal, null and void.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.The issue raised in this writ petition is identical to what was raised in W.P.No.49 of 2020 (S.Murugan vs. State of Tamil Nadu and Others), that has been dismissed by us on 06.01.2020. In view of the same, we see no reason to differ from the said view taken as arguments advanced are identical.
The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed for the same
reason. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently,
W.M.P.No.695 of 2020 is also dismissed.
