PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to permit the petitioner Association to participate in the proposed Check Off exercise to prove its majority in order to identify the petitioner association as one of the Union / Association / Welfare Groups representing OBC employees by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 24.10.2019 made to the respondents.
The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition and he has made an endorsement to that effect in the Court bundle. He has also circulated a letter dated 02.03.2020 to the Registry in this regard.
Recording the same, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
