Mr.M.Karthikeyan, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents and is armed with instructions to proceed with the matter finally. The prayer is short and is for a mandamus directing the first respondent, the Joint Commissioner, HR&CE Department to dispose O.A.No.14 of 2019 seeking settlement of a scheme of administration for the Arulmigu Kaliamman Thirukoil, Leigh Bazzar, Salem.

Bearing in mind the limited prayer and seeing as Mr.Karthikeyan would state that the matter has, in fact, been fixed for continuation and finalisation of enquiry on 30.12.2020, by consent of both learned counsel a final order is passed even at the stage of admission.

Both Mr.Kandhan Doraisami, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Karthikeyan, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents would state that the hearing may be advanced and can be taken up even on Wednesday the 23rd of December, 2020.

In the light of the above, the petitioner will appear before the first respondent on 30.12.2020 at 10.30 a.m. without expecting any further notice in this regard. The first respondent shall hear the petitioner and any other parties that he may think it necessary and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 30.01.2021.

With the aforesaid directions, the mandamus sought stands achieved, this writ petition is disposed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
