This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to allot duty to the petitioner.

The grievance of the petitioner is that he was working as a conductor in the Transport Corporation at Madhavaram Depot and he was not alloted any duty. Therefore, he came before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

The learned Standing counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents Corporation on oral instructions submitted that the petitioner was already alloted duty at Alandur depot and he did not join duty in the said depot.

In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to report before the Alandur depot on 13.02.2020 and the respondent Corporation shall avail the service of the petitioner as a Conductor.
