This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus forbearing respondents not to interfere with the possession and enjoyment of the subject property of the petitioner without acquiring the land in the manner known to law.

Mr.Elumalai, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the respondents will not take any steps to interfere with the possession and enjoyment of the petitioner without following the due process of law.

The learned counsel submitted that if and when the respondents want to acquire the land, they will do so only in accordance with law.
