PRAYER:
Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, seeking Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to inform the petitioner the deficit stamp duty and deficit registration fee in respect of the sale deed dated 31.12.2000 registered as Document No.5588 of 2007 in the office of the Sub Registrar, Neelankarai, to enable the petitioner to pay the deficit stamp duty and registration fee and direct the first respondent to release the said sale deed dated 31.12.2000 registered as Document No.5588 of 2007.
This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to release the Sale Deed that was registered on 31.12.2000, within the time stipulated by this Court.
2.Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents circulated the written instructions received from the first respondent. The learned counsel submitted that the petitioner can approach the first respondent office and submit the receipt that was given at the time of registration and the Sale Deed will be released to the petitioner.
3.Recording the submissions of the learned Special Government Pleader, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
