The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to consider his representation dated 25.06.2015 and the reminders dated 02.10.2015, 25.2.2016 and 02.3.2016 and to register the petitioner's cancellation deed.

The petitioner has given his representations seeking for registration and cancellation of the settlement deed

unilaterally. In the case of the cancellation of the settlement deed, the remedy open to the petitioner is to approach the competent Civil Court, and on his own he cannot execute the cancellation deed and get it registered.

In such view of the matter, I am not inclined to entertain the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. However, it is open to the writ petitioner to work out his remedy in accordance with law. No costs.
