Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to grant stay of operation of the judgement and preliminary decree dt 16/04/2019 passed in OS No.94/2016 by the Learned Dist Judge Dist court No.II , Kanchipuram (CMP.7191/2020) pending disposal of the above AS.521/2020

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.R.KARUNAKARAN, Advocate for the petitioner the court made the following order:-

There shall be an order of interim stay on condition that the petitioners / appellants shall deposit 50% of the award passed by the District Judge, District Court No.II, Kanchipuram with proportionate interest and costs if any, after adjusting the amount if any already deposited, on the file of the District Court No.II, Kanchipuram in OS.No.94 of 2016, within a period of four weeks, failing which, the interim stay granted shall stand automatically vacated, without further reference to the Court.
