This application actually follows the order passed in A.No.752 of 2020 which was ordered on 20.02.2020. In that application, a learned Single Judge had directed that the amount deposited by the defendant pursuant to orders of the Court is liable to be returned to the defendant and had allowed the application. The Registry was directed to foreclose the Fixed Deposit in Indian Bank, Madras High Court Branch standing
to the credit of the suit account and pay the same to the defendant.
