This Application has been filed by the 3rd defendant seeking to
condone the delay of 87 days in representing the written statement.
2.It is stated by the learned counsel Mr.Prasad Vijayakumar, that the written statement has been presented within the stipulated period and there is no delay in filing the written statement. 3.In the affidavit filed in support of the present Application, it had been stated that on 12.08.2020, when the matter was listed, the learned counsel was informed that the Registry had returned the written statement. Thereafter, efforts were taken to determine the nature of return and to comply with the same. In view of all these procedural aspects, there has been a delay in representing the written statement.

4.In view of the reasons stated above, the delay is condoned. Registry
may examine the written statement filed on behalf of the 3 rd defendant and
if it had been filed within the stipulated period, make an endorsement
