Heard Mr.D.Muthukumar, learned counsel for the petitioners; Mrs.Veena Suresh, learned counsel for the first respondent and Mr.P.Srinivas, learned counsel for the second respondent.

The petitioners approached this Court being aggrieved by the notices dated 30.4.2007 rejecting the applications submitted by the petitioners seeking regularization of unauthorized/deviated buildings. The said notices were issued by the second respondent, i.e., the Commissioner, Avadi Municipality.

The learned counsel for the second respondent states that the said notices have been wrongly issued to the petitioners and the same may be quashed. The said submission is recorded.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the second respondent, these writ petitions are allowed and the impugned notices dated 30.4.2007 are set aside. No costs. Consequently, M.P.Nos.1 of 2007 (5 petitions) are closed.
