Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records connected with the letter No.PT2/2715/2005, dated 15.02.2005 of the second respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to sanction pension and other terminal benefits including DCRG with effect form01.06.2003 by taking into account the services rendered by the petitioner from 22.12.1971 to 17.01.1990 in C.C.P. Unit.

When the Writ Petition was listed for hearing on 08.11.2019, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner, hence, the Writ Petition was adjourned by two weeks. Subsequently, when the matter was listed for hearing on 22.11.2019, on that also, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, the Registry was directed to list the Writ Petition under the caption “for dismissal” on
25.11.2019. Though the Writ Petition has been listed under the caption “for dismissal” today, none appeared for the petitioner. In these circumstances, this Court has no other option except to dismiss the Writ Petition for non prosecution. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs.
