This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to consider the petitioner's application for granting of patta.

According to the petitioner, the petitioner's father Mr.T.Maharajan has purchased the property in S.No.8/1, Vengaivasal Village, Tambaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District measuring an extent of 50 cents. Right from the purchase, they are in possession and enjoyment of the property. Thereafter, they have filed an application on 17.12.2018 before the 2^nd respondent seeking for issuance of patta, and that application was not considered. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner.

Considering the limited prayer sought in the present Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the 2^nd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.12.2018 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law after issuance of notice of personal hearing to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. With the said direction, the present Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
