2.The case of the petitioner is that in respect of the property measuring about 13 acres comprised in S.No.97, Meyyur Village, Koodapakkam Panchayat, Poonamallee Taluk, Tiruvellore District, the respective owners executed three lease agreements in favour of the petitioner. In the said three lease agreements, the respective owners leased out their respective properties for the purpose of planting casuarinas (savuku trees). After taking possession of the property, the petitioner planted casuarinas (savuku trees) in the said property. While that being so, the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board planned to install high voltage electric line from Alamadhi village 400 KV Sub Electric station to Sunguvarchathiram 400 KV Sub Electric Station. In order to carry out the said work, the Electricity Board commenced to cut all the tries in the area earmarked for the purpose of installing the said high voltage electric line. In the process of installing the said tower, the 1st respondent planned to remove the casuarinas (savuku trees) planted by the petitioner. While carryinhg out the said removal of the trees, the 1st respondent promised to pay the compensation amount of Rs.1,50,000/- per acre within two months. Though the 1st respondent received necessary documents from the petitioner, he failed to make the payment. Since the respondents did not consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 16.03.2011, so far, the present writ petition has been filed.
