Prayer:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus directing respondents to grant four weeks parole to the petitioner's son Sakthivel S/o Palanisamy, (C.T.No.7189) aged about 41 years life convict, now confined at Central Prison-I, Puzhal, Chennai for taking treatment on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 25.02.2019.

The Superintendent of Prisons, Central Prison-1 (Convict), Puzhal, Chennai-600 066 has sent a communication dated 07.03.2019 in Letter No.7189/R1/2019, stating among other things that after extending the leave of the detenu till 08.03.2019, he availed the same and returned back to prison on 07.03.2019 and the said letter is taken on record.
