Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the Respondent to produce the body of the Petitioner's son L.Rajesh, S/o.Lakshmanan, aged about 40 years, before this Court.
The Petitioner, who is the mother of the detenu, viz. L.Rajesh, has come up with this Petition, seeking production of the detenu.
- The detenu is mentally unstable and he is stated to be missing from 2017. Though a case has been registered on 06.09.2017, there is no clue as to the whereabouts of the detenu.
- Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that all necessary steps have been taken by the Respondent police to trace the detenu and investigation is going on.
