The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking to quash the proceedings in Sp.CC.No.6/2016 on the file of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Special Judge, Chengalpattu.

2 After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he would seek that a direction may be issued to the learned Trial Judge, to complete the trial as expeditiously as possible.

3 Heard the submissions of Mr.K.Prabakar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1^st respondent who has furnished the certified copy of the order of this Court made in Crl.RC.No.204/2019 dated 06.02.2019.

4 A perusal of the order dated 06.02.2019 made in Crl.RC.No.204/2019 would reveal that this Court, while dismissing the criminal revision filed by the petitioner earlier, had directed the learned Trial Judge to complete the trial within a period of six months from 11.03.2019. Hence, the learned Trial Judge, shall take steps to comply with the earlier order dated 06.02.2019 made in Crl.RC.No.204/2019.

5 With the above direction, the criminal original petition stands closed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
