Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the principal amount has already been paid and the interest has not been paid to the petitioner.

In reply, the learned Counsel for the respondents 1 and 2 as well as the learned Counsel for the third respondent, on instructions, submitted that they will pay the amount to the petitioner within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The said submission is placed on record.

Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed and the respondents herein will have to pay the interest in two equal installments to the petitioner, viz., first installment on or before 20.10.2019 and second installment on or before 20.11.2019.
