This application has been filed seeking visitation rights by the father of the minor whenever he visits India.
- Mr.T.R.Rajagopalan, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the
father/applicant would submit that the applicant is already in India and today is the birthday of the child. By order dated 25.04.2018, this Court had permitted the mother/respondent to celebrate the birthday of the child on 26.04.2019 in her house, and on the next day he was allowed to celebrate the birthday of the child in Hotel Anjappar at 5 pm. The learned Senior Counsel would submit that he would be satisfied, if similar directions are issued to celebrate the birthday of
the child this year also.
- Mr.K.M.Aasim Shehzad, learned counsel appearing for the respondent/wife would submit that the wife is now employed in United Kingdom and the child is also in United Kingdom along with her. The husband/applicant is also a permanent resident of United Kingdom. Therefore, according to Mr.Aasim Shehzad, applicant as a father can very well visit the child in United Kingdom, since they are living only 70 miles apart.
