PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records on the file of the Labour Court, Madurai in respect of the award passed in C.P.No.44 of 2003 contrary to the provisions of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, which is illegal null and void ab-initio and quash the same.

ORDER
When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner reported “no instructions” from the petitioner. This writ petition is of the year 2011. Having been enjoying the fruits of the interim order, it is the duty of the petitioner to have in touch with his counsel and proceed with the matter. But, he has failed to do so. It appears that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the matter further. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed for default. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
