Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the impugned orders passed by the 2nd respondent herein in AIVD/257/13-14 dated 17.06.2013 and AIVD/493/12-13 dated 22.08.2012 and quash the same as devoid of merits and direct the respondents to reimburse the recovery made towards the advance transfer travelling allowance in the December 2011 salary of the petitioner within the period specified by this Court.

The case was listed for hearing on 16.02.2018, there was no

representation on behalf of the writ petitioner. Thus, the writ petition was posted under the caption “for dismissal” on 19.02.2018. On 21.02.2018, the matter was taken up for hearing, on that day also there was no representation for the petitioner, hence, again the matter was posted under caption “for dismissal”. Today i.e. on 27.02.2018 also, when the matter was taken up, none appeared on behalf of the writ petitioner.
2.In the light of the fact that there is no appearance on behalf of the petitioner, it is evident that the petitioner is not willing to get along with the matter and therefore, the Writ Petition stands dismissed for non prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
