Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to permit the petitioner to carry on stone quarry operation and transport the stones from the leasehold area S.F.No.280/13A (Block-12) in Thuraimangalam Village, Perambalur Taluk admeasuring 1.00.0 Hectare, for the balance period of 5 years as virgin area pursuant to the amended Rule 8(8) of the Tamil Nadu Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 1959 on payment of lease amount.
In view of the orders passed in W.A.(MD).No.553 of 2010 dated 10.08.2011, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken in respect of the grounds raised in this writ petition.
2.Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
