When the matter was taken up for consideration on 06.04.2018, as there was no representation for the petitioner, the matter was directed to be listed under the caption “For Dismissal” on 11.04.2018, the date on which, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner appeared before this Court and requested that the matter may be listed on 23.04.2018 and on his
request, the matter was directed to be listed on 23.04.2018, i.e. today. Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner. However, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents appeared before this Court and presented the facts of the case. Under such circumstances, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
