By consent of both parties, the writ petitions are taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioners have come up with these writ petitions seeking a direction to the respondent to consider their applications for Visa extension vide Nos.18/NCC/RRO/2017-1055 and 18/NCC/RRO/2017-1054 respectively within the time frame.

3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners have submitted representations claiming the same relief as prayed in these writ petitions, but, the said representations are yet to be disposed of by the respondent. However, the learned counsel submitted that it would suffice, if the representations dated 17.12.2017 made by the petitioners are directed to be considered by the respondent, on merits.

4.Mr.P.Ayyasamy, learned Standing Counsel taking notice for the respondent, submitted that the respondent be directed to consider the petitioners' representation and pass orders in accordance with law.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 17.12.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.Accordingly, these writ petitions stand disposed of. No costs.
