Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioners seek for a mandamus directing the first and second respondents to consider the representation given by the petitioners' mother dated 09.06.2016, wherein and whereby, they sought for survey of the land in respect of the property in Old Survey No.1051 and Town Survey No.38A, Ward No.C, V.O.C. Nagar, Madavaram Village, Madavaram Taluk, Thiruvallur District.

The grievance of the petitioners before this Court is that the said representation has not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioners, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the second respondent to consider the representation dated 09.06.2016 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
