PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Declaration, declaring that the land acquisition proceedings initiated under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, by issuing notification under section 4(1) of the Act in G.O.Ms.No.433, dated 14.5.1990, issuing declaration under section 6 of the Act in G.O.Ms.No.948, dated 7.6.1991 followed by passing of award in Award No.1/97 dated 23.4.1997 with respect to 1904 square feet of land comprised in S.No.617/1A3, belonging to the petitioner situated at Sholinganallor Village, Kancheepuram District, as lapsed in view of Section 24(2) of the Right to Fair Compensation and
Resettlement Act, 2013 (Act 30/2013), consequently forbear the 3rd respondent from taking further action pursuant to the notice dated 12.7.2018.
