PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the 2nd respondent herein to produce the body or person of the detenu by name Minor Dharun, S/o.Saravanan, aged about 2 ¼ years, who has been illegally detained by the 4th respondent and produce him before this Court and hand over the custody to the petitioner.

This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the petitioner to produce her son namely, Minor Dharun, aged 2 ¼ years.
2.In the affidavit filed in support of this Petition, it has been averred that the fourth respondent, who is the husband of the petitioner, has illegally detained her son. In this regard, she lodged a complaint to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Thanjavur https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ District, on 06.03.2018. Since no effective steps have been taken, the petitioner is before this Court.

4.In view of the above, there is no need for further adjudication in this matter. Accordingly, this Hebeas Corpus Petition is closed.
