PRAYER: Criminal Revision Petition filed under Sections 397 and 401 of Cr.P.C, praying to call for the records in M.P. NO.2589 of 2010 in E.O.C.C. No. 631 of 2002 pending on the file of the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate ,E.O.-I, Egmore, Chennai-600 008 and set aside the order dated 25.01.2011 passed by the learned Additional chief Metropolitan Magistrate, E.O.-I, Egmore, Chennai-600 008.

This revision arise against the common order of learned Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, E.O-I, Egmore, Chennai, passed in Crl.MP. 2589 of 2010 in EOCC. No. 631 of 2002 on 25.01.2011.

Heard Mr.R.Amizhdu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners. No appearance on behalf of the respondent.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has submitted a copy of order of this Court dated 28.08.2017 passed in a connected case, wherein the said case was allowed by this Court by considering the letter of complaint dated 12.07.2017 submitted by the learned counsel for the respondent/complainant, which in effect informs intent to act in keeping with Section 257 Cr.P.C.

In view of the above, the present Criminal Revision
shall stand allowed. The proceedings in the case being tried in
E.O.C.C. No. 631 of 2002 on the file of the learned Additional
Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, E.O-I, Egmore, Chennai, shall
stand quashed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions
are closed.
