Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to pass an order to cancel the Anticipatory Bail to the Respondent / Sole Accused granted by this Honorable Court in Crl.OP (MD).No.11347 of 2017 dated 04.09.2017.
Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.R.ANADARAJ, ADDITIONAL PUBLIC PROSECUTOR, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.S.KARTHIK on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:-
This is a petition moved by the Inspector of Police, City Crime Branch, Tirunelveli City, for cancelling the anticipatory bail granted to the respondent, on 04.09.2017.
2.The respondent, who apprehended arrest, for the offence under Sections 420 and 418 I.P.C in Cr.No.17 of 2017, on the file of the respondent Police, sought for anticipatory bail and this Court, while granting anticipatory bail imposed a condition to deposit a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees three lakhs only) to the credit of Cr.No.17 of 2017.
3.Today, it is reported by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the respondent has not deposited the above said amount till date.
4.In view of the above submission, this Court is of the view https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ that leniency cannot be shown to the person, who has not obeyed the orders of this Court.
