Contempt Petition filed U/s 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act,1971 praying this Court be pleased to punish the respondents for flouting the order of this Hon'ble Court dated 23.03.2017 passed in W.P.No.5292/2017.

The above Contempt Petition coming on this day before this Court for hearing in the presence of M/s.R.Thanjan, Advocate for the Petitioner herein; and of the Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent herein; and upon reading the petition and the affidavit of P.Sigamani, filed herein; the Court made the following order:

“ Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the temple authorities submitted that inasmuch as the Survey has already been done by the Tahsildar, in which, encroachment of the land belonging to the temple has been identified, appropriate action would be taken, and the same will be reported before this Court.
