PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent department to amend the date of birth of the petitioner as 27-07-1959 in all the service records instead of 07-07-1958 based on the Birth Certificate dated 29-12-2010 bearing No.258/1959/3 issued by 3rd respondent and permitted the petitioner to continue in service till the date of superannuation based on the original date of birth.
