Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records, relating to the order of the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.Va.Ni.3(3)/64250/06 dated 27.03.2007 and the consequential order of the third respondent in Na.K.No.3917/2007/Pa Aa2 dated 16.5.2007 and quash the same and direct the respondents to alter the date of birth of the petitioner in the service records as 25.05.1950 instead of 1.06.1949 with all the consequential benefits.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.C.Vediappan, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that all the terminal benefits stated in the counter affidavit have been settled and hence, the above writ petition has become infructuous and he has made an endorsement in the petition to
that effect. Recording the said submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. Consequently, connected M.P.No.2 of 2007 is closed. No costs.
