The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writs of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider his representation dated 13.07.2017 for the issuance of patta in respect of the property in Survey No.117/2A, Patta No.297, measuring an extent of 2 acres and 14 cents in Manamangalam Village, Tharamangalam Sub Registrar Office, Salem District.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation dated 13.07.2017 for the issuance of patta, the 2^nd respondent has not passed any order so far.

Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2^nd respondent may be directed to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 13.07.2017, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2^nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.07.2017 for the issuance of patta
