Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the proceedings of the Deputy Chief Internal Audit Officer/Pension, Chennai -2. The first respondent herein made in Letter No.01578/83F, 8/F, e3/D.76/2004 dated 24.04.2004 quash the same direct the respondents herein to refund the amount recovered from the petitioner towards interest Rs.61,659/- and also direct the respondent herein to calculate interest on the amount impounded viz., Rs.1,21,947/- from 01.07.1998 to 30.11.2000 and interest on surrender leave salary of sum of Rs.15,232/- from 01.07.1998 to 01.08.2003 and 01.12.2002 to 01.08.2003 and disburse all the accrued amount to the petitioner within a short date.
