Mr.S.V.Doraisolaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 18.03.2017 against the order of the 3rd respondent dated 20.01.2017 within a stipulated time.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite the petitioner filed an appeal as early as on 18.03.2017 before the 2nd respondent, the same has not yet been disposed of by the 2nd respondent.
4.Mr.S.V.Doraisolaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 18.03.2017 and dispose of the same in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed
of. No costs.
