Writ Petitions, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the State of Haryana, State of Karnataka, State of Himachal Pradesh, State of Assam, State of Maharastra, the 17th 12, 19, 7 and 9 respondents to transfer to the credit of the second and third respondents herein against Central Sales Tax demands of the third respondent herein, the taxes paid by the petitioners herein on their sales of 305, 1374, 3, 94, 1127 vehicles to State Transport under taking ex-RSO Faridabad, Bangalore, Simla, Guwahati and Pune & Nagpur during the period respectively 01.04.1986 to 31.03.1989, being the vehicles manufactured in the factories of the petitioners in Tamil Nadu and moved into the said Regional Sales Office either from the factories in the State of Tamil Nadu or from other Regional Sales Offices in respect of which the taxes have been assessed and realised by the authorities of the said 17th 12, 19, 7 and 9 respondents herein under the General Sales Tax law of the said State.
