The parties have settled the matter, in and by which, the Management paid a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only) to the workman in full and final satisfaction of his claim. The parties have filed a joint memorandum of settlement under Section 18(1) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, dated 05 September, 2017.

2.In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, nothing survives for adjudication.

The intra-Court appeals are disposed of in terms of the memorandum of settlement. The memorandum of settlement shall form part of the judgment. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
