W.A.Nos.16 and 1674 of 2014
HULUVADI G.RAMESH, J. AND RMT.TEEKAA RAMAN, J.
(Order of the court was made by RMT.TEEKAA RAMAN, J.)
The matter is posted today for being mentioned.
- After hearing both the parties, we are of the view that the operative
portion of the judgment at the penultimate para with regard to remanding the matter requires some modification and accordingly, the matter is remanded not to the learned Single Judge, but, to the authority viz., The Inspector of Panchayats cum District Collector, Office of the District Collectorate, Salem District for de novo consideration, while deleting the direction to the appellants to furnish report before the learned Single Judge. Similarly, in the last paragraph of the judgment, the words 'learned Single Judge is requested' shall be replaced by the words 'the authority is directed'. The authority shall complete such exercise within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Note:- Office is directed to issue fresh copy of the judgment after carrying out the necessary modification.
