PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to produce the corpus or body of Selvi Hemalatha, aged 21 years, daughter of the petitioner, before this Court by rescuing her from the illegal custody of the fourth respondent and hand over to the petitioner.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Habeas Corpus for production of the petitioner's daughter - Selvi Hemalatha in this Court. It is alleged that the petitioner's daughter is in the illegal custody of the fourth respondent.

said Selvi Hemalatha has given a statement in writing stating that she has left her home and living with the fourth respondent on her own free will and volition and that she has married the fourth respondent. The Habeas Corpus Petition is thoroughly misconceived and the same is dismissed.
