The petitioner has come up with the present contempt
petition for the alleged disobedience of the order of this Court dated 18.08.2015 passed in WP.No.23456 of 2015,
wherein, this Court directed the first respondent therein
to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.06.2015 with regard to grant of one bonus increment in
the light of G.O.Ms.No.234, Finance (Pay Cell) Department
dated 01.06.2009, G.O.Ms.No.231, School Education (C1)
Department, dated 04.09.2012 and G.O.Ms.No.237, Finance

(Pay Cell) Department, dated 22.07.2013 to the petitioner on completion of thirty years of service and to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity to the petitioner, if so warranted.
learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the order of this Court has been complied with by the respondent. He
has also produced a copy of the letter in No.55059/CMPC/2016-1 Dated 03.04.2017 addressed to the petitioner by the Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Finance (CMPC) Department, Chennai – 600 009, wherein, it has been specifically stated that the petitioner has not completed 30 years of service and hence, he has not been granted the bonus increment.
