PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 397 read with 401 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to set aside the order made in Crl.A.No.22 of 2004 dated 20.05.2009 on the file of the Additional District and Sessions Judge, (Fast Track Court No.I) Chennai confirming the order made in CC.No.6951 of 1991 dated 08.01.2004 on the file of the XI Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai.
For Petitioner : Mr.S.Padmanaban, Petitioner in person – No appearance.
For respondent : No appearance for R1. Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz, Government Advocate (Crl.side) for R2.
On 09.06.2016, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has already handed over the bundle to the petitioner and reports no instruction, hence the matter was directed to be listed under the caption “for disposal” on 16.06.2016. On 17.06.2016, this Court directs the Registry to print the name of the petitioner in the cause list and the revision was directed to be listed today under the caption “for
dismissal”. Even today, i.e, 20.06.2016, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner either in person or through the counsel. Therefore, the criminal revision petition is dismissed for non prosecution.
