Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
2.Seeking an order in the nature of Mandamus, the writ petition has been filed invoking Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to direct the respondents to transfer the revenue records relating to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ Melaparthipanoor Village, Oorani Survey No.260/1 comprising 5 acres and 98 cents as Arulmigu Sokkanathar Swami Temple and Oorani within the time stipulated by this Court

5.Having gone through the affidavit and supporting materials, we are of the considered view that there is no public interest involved in this writ petition and the petitioner has no locus standi to raise such relief against the respondents to transfer the Government poramboke land stated in the petition in favour of the said temple, hence, the writ petition is liable to be dismissed.
6.In the result, the writ petition is dismissed. However, we make it clear that it is open to the petitioner to approach the authorities concerned, according to law. No costs.
