Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the proceedings issued by the third respondent in official communication No.TNTEU/R/Syn.September Item No.14/Withdrawal/2014/1866 dated 12.11.2014 and to quash the same and consequently, direct the third respondent to restore the affiliation already granted in Letter No.TNTEU/R/Affln./2008/177 dated 24.9.2008.

Consequent upon the order passed in the review application in Rev.A.No.257 of 2014 , this writ petition, which challenges the withdrawal of affiliation by the University, is closed. As and when the petitioner gets recognition for National Council for Teacher Education in terms of the new Regulations, the University shall consider the question of affiliation afresh. No costs. Consequently, M.P.Nos.1 and 2 of 2014 are also closed.
