The petitioner has sent a representation dated 30.04.2015 to the fourth respondent-Tahsildar, Gingee Taluk, Villupuram District, with a copy marked to the first respondent-District Collector, seeking for allotment of burial ground (grave-yard) to the Adi Dravidar people. On a perusal of the documents annexed to the typed set of papers filed along with the Writ Petition, it is seen that report in this regard has been furnished by respondents-revenue authorities. Since no action had been taken on the said representation dated 30.04.2015 of the petitioner, he has filed the present Writ Petition to direct the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 30.04.2015 and also to direct the first respondent

Therefore, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the first respondent-District Collector to consider the said representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, respondents 6 and 7 herein and aggrieved parties, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order or on production of a copy of this order by the petitioner, along with a copy of the said representation dated 30.04.2015, whichever is earlier. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
