ORDER : The Court Made the following order :-
The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 19.12.2014 for the offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of I.P.C. in Crime No.509 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
“It is the case of the prosecution that this petitioner and her husband Manikandan started a concern by name Sri Krishna Real Estate at Rajapalayam and they gave advertisement in various papers assuring that if people pay monthly instalement of Rs.280/-, at the end of the 50th month, they will register plots in the name of the subscribers. There are about 645 depositors in this case, who have been cheated to the tune of Rs.85 lakhs. This Court has granted interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner's husband P.Manikandan in Crl.O.P.(MD). No.1050 of 2015 on 29.01.2015 on condition that he shall cooperate with the investigation and settle the claims of various subscribers. The interim anticipatory bail is granted up to 12.02.2015.
