PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution
of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing
the first Respondent to grant quarrying lease in favour of the
Petitioner in respect of Government Quarry lands measuring 1.35.0
Hectares, comprised in Survey S.F.No.243, situated in No.9,
ERRABAYANAHALLI Vilage, Dharmapuri Taluk, Dharmapuri District by
considering the petitioner's quarrying lease application dated
30.03.2007 under the Granite Conservation and Development Rules
1999.
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the relief sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.
2.Recording the submission and the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
