Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of declaration declaring the action of the second respondent viz. Staff Selection Commission, in not conducting the preliminary and final examinations for the candidates appearing from the State of Tamilnadu in their regional language viz. Tamil, and conducting such examinations in English or Hindi alone is contrary to the policy of the Central Government to conduct both preliminary and final examinations in their respective regional languages as followed and implemented by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is illegal, void and arbitrary and offending the interests of the candidates appearing from Tamil Nadu seeking recruitment conducted by the second respondent for assessing the merit at Matriculation or Graduation level and consequently directing the respondents to conduct examinations for all the candidates appearing from Tamilnadu in their regional langauges i.e., Tamil.
