The affidavit filed, is really only in compliance of our direction (e). As far as the Draft Bill is concerned, naturally, the deponent of the affidavit being the Inspector General of Police (Welfare) could not have really deposed to the situation and therefore, all that is stated is that the Draft Bill is under consideration of the Government. We are not aware of the stage.
- The concerned Principal Secretary should file an affidavit stating the stage of the Draft Bill and when it is expected to be placed before the Assembly.
- The affidavit be filed within two weeks, as prayed for by the learned Government Pleader.
- List for compliance on 28.09.2015.
