This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ to trace out and produce the detenu by name Alagar S/o.Nalachakaravarthi, husband of the petitioner.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has represented that the so-called detenu has committed an offence punishable under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code and due to that First Information Report has been registered on 26.03.2014 in Crime No.106 of 2014 on the file of Perumanallur Police Station.

On the basis of the representation made on the side of the respondents, this Court has perused the First Information Report registered on 26.03.2014 in Crime No.106 of 2014, Perumallur Police Station, Thirupur district, wherein it has been clearly stated that the so-called detenu has committed the offence punishable under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code and in connection with the alleged crime, he has been arrested and remanded to custody. Under the said circumstances, the relief sought for in the present petition has become infructuous and therefore, the present petition deserves to be dismissed.

In fine, this Habeas Corpus petition deserves dismissal and accordingly is dismissed.
