Notification regarding inclusion of Shivdhamapur and Sangameshwar villages as revenue villages

No. VPM-2023/CR-154/PR-4(22).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (g) of article 243 of the Constitution of India, read with section 4 of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act (III of 1959), and of all other powers enabling itin this behalf, and in supersession of all the previous notifications or instruments issued in that behalf, and after consultation with the Administrator, discharging the functions of the Standing Committee of the Zilla Parishad, Ratnagiri and Village Panchayat and Gram Sabha Dhamapur Tarfe Sangameshwar, in Sangameshwar Tahasil of Ratnagiri District, the Governor of Maharashtra hereby specifies the 7th March, 2024, to be the date from which each of the local areas comprising revenue villages Dhamapur Tarfe Sangameshwar and Shivdhamapur in Sangameshwar Tahasil, in Ratnagiri District, specified in column (3) of the Schedule appended hereto, shall be the distinct villages and shall be known by the name of the villages Dhamapur Tarfe Sangameshwar and Shivdhamapur, respectively, as specified in column (2) thereof, for the purposes of Part IX of the Constitution.
